Bear Hunt Gear list
- Scoped Rifle (please have your rifle sighted in) 30-06 or larger is preferred
- 2 boxes of Ammo - We will shoot a few times on the range upon arrival to make sure you rifle is still sighted in. High quality ammo. No ballistic tips.
- 2 - 100 quart coolers for meat if transporting your own meat
- Hunting boots
- Thermacell
- Rain Gear
- Binoculars
- Head Lamp and Flashlight
- Dress in layers, temperatures may change up to 40 degrees in a day
- Gloves - leather or briar proof
- Hunter Blaze Orange Hat
- Hunting license and Bear Tag
- An open sight rifle can be provided for your hunt if needed
- On a hound hunt, in these areas brush can be very dense. Consider bringing Briar pants, Carhartt or Dans clothing.
