Offering Black Bear Hunts in Eastern North Carolina
Tri-County Guide Service offers Black Bear Hunts in Eastern North Carolina. Each of the hunts takes place near the Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Hyde, Washington, and Beaufort Counties.
On the day of the hunt, your guide will transport you to your assigned hunting area and will remain with you during your hunt. After your morning hunt a lunch will be provided. Then will prepare for the evening hunt. Tri-County Guide Service offers both still hunts and dog hunts to assist you in harvesting your black bear. Game recovery and cleaning are included in your hunt. Please be aware that any bear that is injured in any way is considered fatal. Tri-County Guide Service will use all means possible to recover the bear. Each hunter must wear an orange hat during the hunt. Each day of your hunt, a light breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
You are expected to arrive in camp with your North Carolina Hunting License along with your bear stamp. Go to ncwildlife.org to apply for your hunting license. Please have your rifle sighted in when you arrive at camp.
The Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge is home to some of the largest black bears in the world. Please contact us for any other questions/prices or to book a hunt.
